What is the SAAVA Young Valuers Group all about?

SAAVA Young Valuers restarted in 2021 and has grown to around 50 members. The group meets for both professional and social events, bringing together younger members of SAAVA from across the whole of Scotland.

The Young Valuers group supports probationers with their exam preparations, running additional written and oral tutorials, as well as CPD events.

They also meet for several social events throughout the year to welcome new members, celebrate exam achievements and encourage networking across the industry.

May – Welcome/ networking event for new members of YV. Make your pizza at pizza express
June – SAAVA Field Day – Date and venue to be confirmed
June – Royal Highland Show – social meeting & Catch up
June / July  – CPD collaboration with rural solicitors and annual Rounders
August – Practical Tutorial – organised by Catherine Lawson
September – Oral tutorial help session followed by Pie and Pint night social
September – CAAV Young Valuers Conference
October – Written Tutorial Help Session – Perth Doocot venue
November – Exam prep for the day / final questions
December – Christmas networking event – tour followed by social night out
