The Compulsory Purchase Association Scotland is hosting a Law Reform Debate on 11th June 2018 in Edinburgh on Emerging Land Value Capture Schemes Using Compulsory Purchase at Restricted Value.
The event will debate the proposals to promote compulsory purchase orders (CPOs) to acquire land owned by developers and other land owners at restricted value, where planning consent has been granted but not yet used. Panellists have been chosen to represent a broad range of views and include Andy Wightman, MSP, David Morgan, Miller Homes and Sarah-Jane Laing, Scottish Land and Estates.
