1 week today and the annual SAAVA Field Day will be all over for another year however, tonight our Secretary Mags is busy updating the attendance list and checking the project plans.

With over 40 delegates already registered to attend the annual event, which is due to be held at the Glenbervie Estates, Stonehaven by kind permission of the Macphie Family and titled Tax & Lines, the programme is looking very good.  Plus from a planning point of view the caterer is confirmed and the behind the scene plans are all coming together …. so, all we need is more attendee’s and nice whether – something none of us can predict or organise!

On the Day, the morning session will be focusing on renewable energy, Wind, Solar and a potential Hydro plant, as well as a proposed Pylon Line which is looking to go through the Estate.   Meanwhile the afternoon session will be based on a practical Farm Valuation and the recent budget changes specifically regarding inheritance tax.
